What actually changed between those two numbers and what we are doing on this channel?
Hi.
I'm Zaya K12 Spanish Teacher.
On November 25, 2025 I took the Praxis Spanish 5195 for the first time.
I scored 159.
The Colorado Cut score is 163.
I missed by four points.
My cultural knowledge score was 5 out of 12.
My reading was 13 out of 25.
Listening where I'd spent weeks of prep was already at 21 out of 25.
I had over prepared the section I was already strongest.
10 weeks later I retook it score 174.
Woohoo.
11 points.
Clear.
Cultural knowledge went from 5 out of 12 to a perfect 12 out of 12 reading went from 13 out of 25 to 21 out of 25.
That's what we're doing on this channel.
Most Praxis prep on YouTube is people telling you to study.
That's not what this is.
On this channel.
Every video goes deep on one section of the Praxis.
5195 5195 and I model exactly how I answered real questions using the strategies that worked the second time around.
You will watch me read a Spanish passage in real time.
Make decisions, talk through what I am thinking.

Because here is the truth.
Telling you the strategies isn't enough.
Most teachers know the strategies, they just don't know what they look like in real time.

I'm going to show you.
Here is a quick preview.
Pretend I just opened the Praxis reading passage on test day.
First thing I'm doing, not reading the passage, I'm reading the question.
On the right side, the Praxis reading screen has two columns.
Passage on the left, one question at a time.
On the right, same passage.
Six questions cycle through.
Most teachers read the passage cold and burn three minutes before earning a single point.
I read the question first, scan the passage for what that question is asking about.
Answer and move on.
That is modeling.
Next week I am doing for real full passage, six questions in real time.
You will watch me work the strategy I use to take my reading score from 13 out of 25 to 21 out of 25.
Here is what the next two months on this channel look like.
Next week, reading the week after listening.
Then three weeks on writing.
One for the email task, one for the opinion essay, one for the article response essay.
Then speaking where I record a, real task on camera and self- scoring.
